This plug-in for Acrobat that can generate some statistics for generated PDF documents.
PDF Paper Stats Batch v2.00 Acrobat Plug-in helps generate statistics on PDF files. PDF files have become a standard in document distribution. Businesses exchange documents of all kinds through this format of documents. Generation of these documents, editing, creation of new documents from existing ones are some of the many things that needs to be done with these documents. It is thus quite useful if some statistics could be easily generated from existing documents. This tool can ease these operations. The developers have created this tool as a plug-in to the Acrobat that is the standard tool for creating and editing PDF documents. The statistics that you could generate include page size usage. Measurements are presented in pixels and metric as well as imperial measurement systems. If necessary, you could generate stats for individual pages.
The reports could be exported in several formats. The default is text format. Batch operations are supported and you could export the stats for the listed files. It is possible to get processed stats in CSV format. Creating stats of all files processed is also an available option. The CSV data could be imported into Excel. The version that supports batch processing can give you the count of blank pages. You will need to set what pixel count constitutes a blank page. The evaluation version has some restrictions that are a nag screen, stats of 10 pages only and processing of 5 documents at most. The full version could be a very useful version, if you have a need. This is a very good application.
